Guided Tour with Historical Characters

Who lived here? What was daily life like in André-Benjamin Papineau’s time?

Discover the André-Benjamin Papineau House on a guided tour that will take you on a journey through the history of the site, its occupants, and the era in which they lived.

But keep your eyes open: during the guided tours, friendly ghosts from the past will make an appearance and be delighted to meet you. A village woman who never holds back her opinions. A notary’s clerk who is as brilliant as he is absent-minded.

Inspired by the 19th century, these unexpected visitors will share anecdotes, stories of everyday life, and insightful perspectives on their time.

Leave the present behind and immerse yourself in an experience that is as surprising as it is enriching.
