Chat with Vyckie Vaillancourt-Testimonials on agriculture from two generations of women
For this fourth chat in our program, rather than a lecture, we are offering an informal interview with Vickye and Agathe Vaillancourt from Fermes Vaillancourt. These two women are part of a seven-generation history of farmers who have successfully transformed their approaches to adapt to a constantly changing world.
You will have the opportunity to hear about the little-known reality of agricultural work directly from those who live it, as well as their approach to family entrepreneurship. You will also have the opportunity to ask them your own questions.
Vyckie's biography
Vyckie Vaillancourt is a farmer and founder of O'Citrus, Canada's leading greenhouse citrus producer. Born into a sixth-generation farming family in Laval, she initially worked in public relations before returning to the land to take over the family business. Driven by a desire to preserve this heritage while innovating, she now passionately cultivates projects that combine tradition, family, and boldness.
